Spring Awakening - Five Portals into Presence an ongoing conscious awareness dance group

This course aims to open a space for people who wish to have a shift in consciousness. A change in consciousness happens naturally when the mental, emotional and physical habits are brought into the light of presence awareness.

Conscious awareness shifts the mind, transforms the body and heals the heart. Old habits and patterns are replaced with clarity, lightness, vitality, and joyful conscious living.

In five weeks, we will explore how we can develop our conscious awareness on the dance floor and in our busy life routine. An ongoing five-week group is a well-held container that allows the process to be safe, playful and exciting.

The method - Conscious Awareness Movement Meditation Dance

When we move our body with awareness, we open the possibility to experience the deeper side of us. We explore our deeper selves and learn how to recognise who we truly are under our minds' layers of stories and patterns.

CAMM-Dance is a lively dance meditation practice that builds physical and emotional intelligence and awareness. It is a dance floor discovery zone where we move and include whatever is present for us right now, good days and tough ones, passion, hesitance, joy, sorrow, births, deaths and everything in between.

There are no steps to learn and no way to be wrong.

Idan's practice:

Idan offers dynamic, creative tools and resources to move through life, fully embodied with greater awareness. Idan uses the universal language of dance to improve awareness, personal development, self-discovery, connection and healing.

Idan will guide you gently through the various movement cycle phases. It may include structured exercises, verbal guidance, time to just dance and explore, and time to settle back.

Idan's supportive music landscape is directed to inspire wild dances and tender ones, connections between dancers, and solo time.

The process: Each session will explore a different portal or a gate into Presence.

Module one: The grounded body - a gateway for Presence.

Our body has the wisdom, the knowledge and the experience of how to take us deep into the present moment. The body is an excellent vehicle for conscious awareness. In this module, we will practice how to deepen our attention on our bodies to find peace and quiet and allow our whole body to be present and expressed.

Module two: Resist Nothing - Move and include The emotional body

In this module, we will practice including all that is present right now in our dance practice. We will move and include the joyful sensations and minor irritations and learn how to include the joy and the pain without judgments and preconceptions.

Module three: No story - No problem The mind - A vehicle for the present moment.

We can quickly drift into thoughts, get into a bad mood, and be the victims of our thinking patterns. This can happen on the dance floor and in life. In this module, we will practice how to move with greater awareness to the mind, not letting it dictates our emotional state and learning how to rise above our thinking level.

Module four: Our soul - our unique imprint in the world

The most important call for all souls is to come back home to the source of all forms, but until this happens, there are few unique things we might want to create and give to the world. In this module, we will learn how to listen to our unique whisper of conscious manifestation. What is it that Life-force wants to create through us? Our particular soul purpose.

Module five: Conscious awareness - changing the world

Many people are going through life without enjoying the nectar of their essence. In this module, we will explore the joy of pure conscious awareness. The peace of mind, the extension of the heart and the deep trust that conscious awareness can bring into your life.

About IDAN MEIR (B.ED, MFA)

Coming from a Theatre background, Idan has been working worldwide with individuals and groups in the embodiment movement, art and conscious living since 2001. Besides his Open Floor International qualification, he is also an Iyengar Yoga Certified Teacher.

With his long experience working with polarised communities and groups in Israel, Palestine, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Ukraine, Kenya, France, Austria and the USA, Idan brings a unique flavour and clear perspective to his practice.

Idan is constantly learning, improving his skills, widening his toolkit, and curious about deepening our conscious living experience. He is evolving his work and keeps refining it. He is inspired by the individuals and the groups he is working with. His passion for conscious awareness and conscious living adds a strong drive, energy and an authentic flavour to his work.

IDAN MEIR (B.ED, MFA) English Follow German Idan hat eine Iyengar-Yoga-Lehrer Zertifizierung und ist ausgebildeter Lehrer für Open Floor - achtsame Bewegung und Tanzmeditation. Idan kommt aus dem Theaterbereich und arbeitet seit 2001 weltweit mit Einzelpersonen und Gruppen auf dem Gebiet der Embodiment-Bewegung und des bewussten Lebens. Durch seine langjährige Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit polarisierten Gemeinschaften und Gruppen in Israel, Palästina, Irland, Nordirland, Ukraine, Kenia und den USA bringt Idan eine einzigartige Note und eine klare Perspektive in seine Praxis ein.
