In this workshop, classical ballet is reinterpreted in a fresh and innovative way, allowing participants to develop their own unique approach to the ballet language. The focus is on engaging playfully with the movement material and letting it flow naturally into the body. Fundamental elements of ballet are taught and combined with improvisation and contemporary approaches to discover a creative, personal dance expression. Special attention is given to aspects of ballet that are often overlooked.

Various textures within the body are explored, and unconventional rhythms and sounds are used to uncover new forms of expression. This workshop offers a creative "playground" to experience ballet in a new way and to develop one's own dance voice.
