This workshop is expected to create a moment of sharing and connecting through movement, between experienced and non-experienced dancers. It begins with a gentle warm-up, followed by different sequences and exercises based on classical, modern and contemporary techniques. The course’s development focuses on floor work, alignment, transitions around the space, and interaction with other dancers.

The students are guided and encouraged to find their own movement qualities throughout the course, to apply them to a choreographic piece studied during the last part of the class. The level of this workshop is open to anyone who wants to try. You just need to be passionate about movement.

If you’re new to contemporary dance, this is a great place to begin. Together we’ll work through the different bases and dynamics that are necessary for developing the techniques mentioned above. If you’re an experienced dancer, don’t hesitate to join as well! This could be a great opportunity for you, whether to train your technique or to explore new ways of expressing yourself through movement.
