In this 90-minute workshop, we'll work through two of Jenny's favorite spinning sequences to explore moments of sudden acceleration within spin choreography, which help keep the otherwise hypnotizing visual of spinning hoop fresh and exciting. Manipulating our center of mass around the force of spin, we'll discover those wheeee! moments that make you feel like a kid on the playground again. Participants should have a deep love of spinning!

Requirements: you should be able to invert easily and repeatedly without jumping off the floor

Jenny Tufts is an American-born, Ireland-based performing artist specialising in aerial dance. She's internationally celebrated for her innovations on aerial hoop and spiral, but will try anything twice. Since moving to Ireland in 2020, she has performed for a medley of Irish companies including Fidget Feet, THISISPOPBABY, Fanzini Productions, and Tumble Circus, as well as internationally with Fool's Delight (UK), Disneyland Paris (FR), Mignon (DE), and Le Monastère (CA).
