The Raunächte ( the mystical nights between the years' from 24 December to 6 January ) mark a sacred in-between time: a pause between the old year and the new, a moment to reflect, release, and realign.

This two-part series invites you into the quiet wisdom of this tradition through ritual, gentle movement, and nourishing inner work.

You’re welcome to join one evening or both — each session stands beautifully on its own, yet together they create a meaningful arc from closure to new beginnings.

December 28 — Sacred Smoke: Reflection + Release

A gentle Raunacht evening centred on letting go and clearing space.

We reconnect with the old tradition of smoke rituals, exploring the roots and meaning of using aromatic herbs for cleansing, releasing, and intentionally closing the year.

This evening includes:

• Introduction to the ancestral knowledge of smoke rituals
• Guided reflection to honour and release the past year
• Journaling for clarity and inner alignment
• A gentle yoga practice to soften, ground, and invite inward stillness

A tender evening to complete the year with awareness and spaciousness.

January 4 — Raunacht Renewal: New Beginnings

The final Raunacht night focuses on intention, clarity, and stepping consciously into the new year.

This gathering blends mindful movement, reflection, and practical intention-setting to help you anchor into the energy of new beginnings.

This evening includes:

• Introduction to the Raunächte tradition and its rituals
• A mindful, activating yoga practice to focus body and mind
• Journaling + intention-setting exercises
• Quiet moments of reflection to integrate insights

A supportive space to welcome the year ahead with presence, focus, and renewed inner direction.
