Birgit is the co-founder of SWEET SPOT and teaches yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness practices, organizes and hosts yoga retreats, and works individually in therapeutic one-on-one settings. She integrates her exploration of different yoga styles, Ayurveda, Daoism, and bodywork practices into her teaching. For Birgit yoga is a tool to recognize internalized and embodied personal, societal, and cultural patterns. To recognize and rewire. To inform, reform and find joy. Her classes range from mindful, vigorous Vinyasa and Katonah Yoga sessions to her signature Yin and somatic movement classes. She teaches teachers in the SWEET SPOT Academy, is a Shiatsu practitioner and a fascia flosser, loves horses, to cook, to dance and could eat Pho every day.

Mike is co-founder of SWEET SPOT, a yoga teacher, personal trainer, bodyworker, runner, swimmer and movement enthusiast. From a young age he has been practicing yoga and meditation and studied functional anatomy and holistic therapeutic approaches. Mike's yoga style is a blend of Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Katonah Yoga, Functional Movement, HIIT training, and martial arts moves. Unconventional, playful, and persistent, he creates a framework in which growth and transformation are facilitated on all levels. He teaches teachers in the SWEET SPOT Academy, is a lay monk in the Soto Zen tradition, an Ostheo Thai practitioner, a dedicated barista and number one fan of the Brooklyn Nets.
