In this online course, we will strengthen your creative muscle! You can learn a thousand tricks, but in this online course we will take what you already know and make it unique. We'll discover your own style, get comfortable exploring in the air and on the floor and discover new, unexpected, free and authentic ways of moving! We need to train creativity just like we need to train our body. In this 8-week online course, we will walk this path together and create a thing! #beYOUtiful

Who is it for?

Do you want to turn your 'aerial vocabulary' into your personal, unique story? You are tired of just doing trick-after-trick? You're keen to improvise (more) but don't know where to start? You want to learn how to connect certain phrases into a creative and smooth choreography and make it YOURS? Then this online course is the perfect match for you!

What this course is:

• A chance to connect to your creative self and explore new horizons
• A chance to create a unique, personal piece of art
• A chance to connect with other aerialists, inspire each other and grow together

What this course is not:

• A place to nurture the perfectionist in you
• A place to design a ready-to-perform choreography (although you will definitely have something to build on after this course!)
• A course to dive through in a solo trip and keep all the learnings and inspiration to yourself

What you get:

• 8 week online course
• targeted weekly assignments and resources provided via Facebook group, e-mail and video
• 4 x live interactive classes and Q & A with a small group of fellow aerialists
• 1 x 15-30min 1:1 live video check-ins
• 100% online course; work from anywhere that has internet access access to your apparatus once a week (not necessary during the classes/lives.)

Prerequisites:

• A solid, safe existing aerial practice to be up in the air 3-5 min (solid grip and basics that give you confidence to experiment in the air)
• The desire to brave the wild unknown and get out of your comfort zone.
• Hunger for something more and different.
• Access to a computer and the Internet.
• A Facebook account.
• Access to a training space at least once a week (at any time)

Time investment: about 15-30min/day or around 1-3h per week (including the lives) - depending on the weeks tasks

OUTLINE:

• Week 0: Wednesday, 24.03., 8.30pm (Austrian Time) Kick off - LIVE! Get-together, outline, explanations
• Week 1 & 2: Inspiration (online assignments and small exercises during the week, self reflection, music work), Investment: 15-30min daily
• Week 3: Wednesday, 14.04., 8.30pm (Austrian Time) Analyzing physical powers (online assignments and group Live, ca. 1h)
• Week 4: Wednesday, 21.04., 8.30pm (Austrian Time) Sequencing, Fabric Brain (online assignments and group Live ca 1h)
• Week 5: Individual 1-1 appointments Act Construction (online assignments, one-on-one feedback ca 15-30min)
• Week 6 & 7: Monday, 10.05., 8.30pm (Austrian Time) Refinement and Practice (Peer Feedback, Assignments, group Live ca 1h)
• Week 8: Wednesday, 26.05. 8.30pm (Austrian Time) FINALS (Live)
