Monika Palova & Sean McIlraith - Sequencing and choreography on silks and rope

-      Pre-requisites: strong two hand grip, straddle inversions, ability to stay on the apparatus for a few minutes at a time

-      During this workshop, students will be invited to learn new sequences on both silks and rope, with a focus on both slow and dynamic movement and transitions. We will use and explore every direction (front space, backspace, moving on one spot, twisting and turning, travelling up the rope etc.) with ease and efficiency, incorporating different techniques. Students will explore the different ways of creating and merging choreography on silks and rope and will be invited to dissect the sequences to make them their own.
