Kate Dunne - VERTICAL PLAY // Intermediate / Skilled (Silks & Rope)

A true vertical indulgence, this workshop is open to a range of skill sets who wish to unlock and explore new methods of expression on Rope and Silks. Celebrated Irish artists Emmen and Kate will provide a vibrant and inclusive learning space where curiosity and play will be encouraged through supportive technical learning. Explore their repertoire, break down how to implement flight through dynamic movement and unpick the many many pathways and sequences available across both days of learning.

INTERMEDIATE / SKILLED: level description 

This workshop would be for those who have experience handling rope and silks and are comfortable in the air dissecting repertoire and who overall have good body awareness and stamina. This content will be complex, creative and based in loop theory.  Elements of knot exploration, infusing dynamic movement and even small drops and releases will add to the choreography delivered. Both artists are also keen to address elements of musicality and performance within these sessions.
