Monika Palova & Sean McIlraith - Roll Ups

-      Pre-requisites: front balance, back balance, straddle inversions, s-wrap

-      During this workshop, focusing solely on rolling technique, we will go over basic C-shaping and the use of momentum/flares, both on the floor and in the air, to tackle this challenging skill. Students will be introduced to warm up and conditioning exercises to help the body understand the technique and practice safely. We will look at dynamic single and double wrap rolls, front balance rolls, slow C-shaping single wrap rolls, scissor rolls, hip-key/hip-lock rolls and roll climbs. Dynamic entries from beats and spinning entries from flares will also be covered with students who can already perform front balance rolls (or are very close :)
